Introduction

Finding a place to live in a new town can be very stressful. It can be even more stressful when you find a place to live, and realize too late that it may not be the right apartment for you. Over the course of the four years I have lived in Gainesville, I have lived in three different apartments. I have experienced almost every type of roommate/housing situation imaginable in an apartment, and have overall learned a lot from my experiences. After touring practically every apartment complex in Gainesville, I have finally found an apartment that makes me happy and meets my tough standards. Below is a picture of my apartment, which is in The Reserve At Kanapaha apartment complex. This is my last semester here at the University of Florida, and I'm very sad to have to say goodbye to this awesome town and my beautiful apartment. Over the years of living in this town, I have learned so much about finding places to live, how to decide which place is right for you, the different features to choose from in apartments, roommate situations, etc. Overall, I would like the purpose of this blog to be to share my experiences with apartments and help others find the perfect place to live in Gainesville, Fl.
